We set out to expand the horizons of Cumara from it's very limited offering and actions. We didn't at first realize if our ideas would even be possible. We were sure that Anglers had fallen in love with Cumara so much in fact that at some levels they were forcing themselves to fish Cumara when there were other choices that would have proven better. The grip of the reel seat, the striking stealth look, the weight, and the extreme sensitivity; all of these are big factors to serious Bass Anglers!

The Question was how do we give anglers the look, feel, and incredible actions that Cumara is known for in a completely unique new rod?

We set out with a very specific set of goals. Give Anglers what they want and more importantly what they need. Find a way to get Reaction style actions out of crisp high Modulus Carbon fishing rods. In the end it still had to be what they have come to expect from Cumara.

In starting all this, we had to first dissect the world of Reaction baits. Crank Baits, Blade baits, Top Water baits, Big baits, small baits, deep baits, and shallow baits. Wow, there is a lot of baits!!

We have decided the best way to categorize these baits is by cover type. No matter where you fish you are undoubtedly fishing cover and that is the only real constant!!
